Three Tips to Replace your AI-generated Thesis Content

AI Coaching Thesis Writing

So your thesis or dissertation draft has been submitted to TurnItIn, and the report says you used a lot of AI.  Even if you didn't actually use AI, a certain style of writing can raise red flags when software is used to look for content that is not original.  Supervisors and examiners may also think that the writing is not your own authentic work if it's too formulaic. Here's a short video I recorded, to offer three tips for changing the way you present your content, so that it doesn't sound AI-generated: Get in touch if you're having trouble using...

Because of AI, Oral Defences will have to Replace Written Exams

AI Dissertation Oral Examinations Thesis Writing

Faced with the ubiquitous use of AI by students, written exams and other forms of written evaluations will have to be replaced by oral examinations. Can I be replaced by AI?

AI Coaching Dissertation Thesis Writing

Can I be replaced by AI? This is the question I've been asking myself. And I've come up with two answers: Yes and No. Yes, I can be replaced by AI in the sense that graduate students who used to come to me for assistance in writing and editing their dissertations are now turning to AI to do that.  How do I know?  They tell me so. What is interesting is that because I work hard to build trust with the students, they are very open in explaining how they use AI to generate content for some of their thesis...
